GIVE me the money - trailer
GIVE ME THE MONEY is an experimental documentary short shot and hand-animated on Super 8mm film. It follows Seattle-based noise/electronic band GIVE ME THE MONEY, exploring the lead singer's experience as a trans nonbinary performer in the local underground punk scene. The animated portions were done directly on 8mm film, using bleach, sharpies, watercolor ink pigment, sewing needle, whiteout tape, nail polish, and an awl.
Directed, produced, animated, interviewed, and shot by Vida Behar. Edited by Kalee Quiñones. Sound design by Jackson Mckagan.
